Fourteeeeeen

Fourteen years married. (And one day.)

Yesterday I was all "BOOM SHAKALAKA!" every time I thought about it. Fourteen feels good.

Now I'm not real big into the over-the-top mushy-gushy sentiments shared for all the world to see (not to be confused with the mushy-gushy sentiments said in private which I am a HUGE fan of) so I'll just repeat what Russ sweetly wrote in his card to me yesterday: 

"Fourteen years and not a minute of regret. They say marriage is hard... with you it's been wonderful."

PREACH. I could not have said it better myself. Thankful that we have so many years yet to come.

(And thankful we have another "anniversary extravaganza" date planned for next week, thanks to the husband who arranged it all, including a day off work, an overnight sitter, a couple's massage, pedicures, shopping, dinner, a movie out, and who knows what else coz that's how we roll!)

(If a wedding anniversary isn't a good enough excuse to just do EVERYTHING that sounds fun I don't know what is :)
