The oldest two, at least.
Cooper started fourth grade and Kendall entered sixth.
(At this point in time I would like to put off all thoughts of this being my daughter's last year of grade school as I am not AT ALL ready to have a junior higher. Last forever, sixth grade!)
She is:
Excited to see all her friends.
Excited for school sports.
Excited to meet the new students and make new friends.
Excited about everything!
He is:
Mr. serious.
Mr. "this is the best smile you're going to get because I'm a little nervous."
Mr. going to do awesome in fourth grade!
I'm going to miss them while they're at school during the day but I'm excited to watch them learn and grow this year.
And at least I still have this guy to hang out with!

My baby girl started 6th grade today too! I have a love/hate relationship with the whole back to school end of summer thing!! Hope your kiddo's had a great day!
ReplyDeleteIt's bittersweet, isn't it? We homeschool, but it's still hard having them move through the grades so fast. How do I possibly have a 5th grader?!!
