A minor master-suite tragedy

We encountered a slight delay in the master suite addition this weekend:


That was our double sink bathroom countertop. It was all ready and beautiful for the undermount sinks to be installed and then placed on the waiting vanity.

How does a thick, solid slab of granite break like that, you ask? We have no idea. Our tile guy was gluing one of the sinks underneath and it just crumbled. He has never seen anything like that happen in all his many years of business.

Daaaang.

  5. Now we search for another piece, hopefully very similar, since we picked all our other bathroom tile to match it!!
