Ringing in the New Year

Greetings, from this Christmas season's worst blogger in the world! I meant to blog more over our holiday break... I really did.

And then fun happened.

Fun like this. A kid-free party with friends and loved ones on New Year's Eve.

Notice the array of games, from Bible Baseball to Smart A** (two trivia games that I rocked at equally). We pretty much had our bases covered.

Not that boys cared for anything besides poker. BOYS.

That's okay, we don't need no stinkin' boys!

We did need the food though... good thing there was enough to feed all of us thrice over.

It was a night full of laughing and fun.

 With plenty of kisses at midnight :)

And since then we've enjoyed the last few days of Christmas break with movies, cousin sleepovers, some basketball, and a little home organizing and decluttering. Christmas got packed away (minus the advent calendar and door wreath I managed to miss because it's not like they were big and RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY EYEBALLS or anything.) But besides those items (currently sitting on top of my piano), things are looking pretty good around here! Life starts up again tomorrow, and with it, hopefully my regular blogging schedule. 

Emphasis on hopefully :)
