This one feels embarrassing to admit.

After spending the last two weeks catching up on the first three seasons of Duck Dynasty with my husband (mainly because he was watching it and I had nothing else to do), it's official... my tolerance for the show has turned into like, has turned into really like, has turned into I AM SO ADDICTED.

I love Duck Dynasty. There. I said it.

And you know what I love specifically? Besides watching my husband cry from laughing so hard? The good feeling I have after watching each episode, because it was wholesome entertainment that made me want to spend more time with my family and teach my kids good morals and grow old together with my husband.

You have to admit, that's a pretty rare feeling to get from watching TV these days.

I LOVE that a Christian family is being portrayed in a positive way on national TV and that not only has the show been well-received, its popularity has skyrocketed.

Now, if only I can get Russell to quit quoting Phil and Uncle Si lines to me all the day long, I'll be truly happy, happy, happy.

Oh wait... ;)

  3. I always new you would grow to like that show. Some of the stuff they do kind of reminds me of Russell. You know, the late night bull frog hunts and some of the other crazy stuff. I appreciate the strong moral values that you don't see on most other TV shows... which is why I don't watch them. But I'll get off my Evil Network Sitcom high horse now:-)
