Field day is one of the school events that the kids get most excited about and Cooper was no exception... I found this note he'd made for himself propped against his alarm clock the night before:
Anyway, it turned out to be a gorgeous day and with Blake along as my "helper" (and a grande white mocha from the coffee shop) we ended up having a lot of fun.
Lots of relays. The ones I ran where the sack races and the "put a marble from the pool in a bucket with your toes" race (trickier than you'd think!)
Cooper's self pep talk must have helped! For the 2nd year in a row his team came in first place and he won this giant candy bar for his mom that he generously shared :)
White chocolate and a white mocha? Field day DOES = Fun day!
Looks like a fun day all around! Glad you guys had good weather. And that candy bar is making my mouth water...and not helping my ability to fight my late night craving for sweets. :)
