It's Thursday!

I tried to make that sound like it's exciting but really, not so much. And I don't have anything I'm dying to tell the internet world either. Unless you want to hear about how Cooper lost the belt to his baseball pants after his very first game and we haven't been able to find it since even though we've searched hill and dale. Because I'd be happy to rant about that for a while. 

What IS exciting: tomorrow I'm headed off to the beach for the weekend with a whole bunch of girlfriends for our church women's retreat. It's going to be so fun and of course shopping WILL be involved. Happy Mother's day to me!

In the mean time, here's a cute picture of Cooper playing baseball (pre-belt loss), which I'm just going to look at for a while to remind myself how much I love that kid even though his tendency to lose everything he's ever owned can and WILL drive a mother to distraction.

(Bonus: I give you my "Weird moment of the day with Cooper": him telling me that he was trying to think of the perfect place to one day propose to his future wife where it would really surprise her. I didn't really know how to respond to this because HE IS TEN.)
