Hi, I'm Jodi... aka Jod, Jodalicious (to my hubby), or Jod à la mode, the nickname my best friend gave me in high school, and this is my family. Or at least it was, back when I started blogging in 2010.
This is us now!
I was born and raised in New Zealand before moving to the States with my family at the age of 12. After dating for four years, I married my high school sweetheart, Russell, at the ripe young age of 19! That sounds so crazy now, but after 17 years of laughing together daily, we are still best friends and think each other is pretty darn cute so... I'm convinced he's the best person I ever could have married. (Also, he's hilarious.)
Since then we've had three cute kids... Kendall, Cooper and Blake. They're okay ;)

I'm very content to be a mostly stay at home mom (I've returned to work part-time now that my kids are all in school), even though I have to do the dreaded laundry that never ever ends. I love the Lord with all my heart. I also love date nights, fashion, reading, shopping, camping, ALL things sweet but especially chocolate, and a host of other things.
Including, as it turns out, blogging! I started this blog (in a very spontaneous moment) with the vague idea of keeping my overseas family up-to-date on our life's happenings, and as another way to "scrapbook" our lives. Who knew I would find it so addicting? I plan to stick around.
